What: Oriental Languages & Communication, Japanese
Why: Because I love languages in general and Japanese is amongst one of my top favourite languages. I am also fascinated by their culture, because it is so different from what we have. I still think most Japanese people are crazy, but that does not stop me from wanting to learn from them! Maybe that's because I also love crazy, as long as it's the good kind of crazy, because defining something as 'crazy' usually means it is not what you are used to. Too complicated? Yeah, thought so. =P

lenihanfighter went on an exchange to Jissen Joshi Daigaku (Jissen Women's University) in Tokyo from 10 September 2008 to 4 February 2009. ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif)

Personality: Often calm and reasonable, though I have noticed that my temper has started to peek from under the bed more often lately, which can either result in annoyance or anger. I get along with most people, though.
Interests: See the long list below, though in short Japan(ese), fantasy story (LOVE Eddings), RPGs, writing, needle felting, cross stitching, and I used to watch a lot of anime, but I haven't really had the time for it lately. I also started to get interested in sewing costumes and go to the Elf Fantasy Fair as of 25 april 2009.
Likes: Writing (both stories and RPs) and gaming, good food, books, NaNoWriMo, learning and writing kanji, girls.
Dislikes: Fish (and yes... also sushi), oral exams, presentations (getting over this one, though) and writer's block (the "My muses left me" block).
Pet peeves: People in traffic who don't obey the rules, people in trains who talk too loud or cause disturbance in any other way, people who play their music too loud and I can hear it, every time there is no warm water, and annoying people in general who don't get the hint I find them annoying.
Dreams: To become a published author some day, speak fluent Japanese and that I am a teacher somewhere in this world. And that I can also speak Gaelic and a dozen other languages. Dreams can be nice... And that I find a girl who I really love, and she'll love me. (So in case you did not get the hint: I'm a girl who likes girls. I believe the official terms is lesbian. Leave now if you have a problem with that kind of things.)
